Critical appreciation.
In this poem Ashbury has presented avant garde view ( new idea) of poetry that poetry should depict:
Soul
Subjectivity
Reality
While people criticise newness and they ( people living in buildings) want to continue tradition in poetry and painting(tradition of depicting emotions & subjectivity)
Whenever a painter or poet try to depict above mentioned aspects people create hurdles. Ashbury criticise such people and insist newness and objectivity in art which enables it to bring realism
